Finger Lakes Association Annual Meeting

Today, at Altay Baptist Church. 2:30-registration; 3pm-program; 5pm-dish to pass supper. Guest speaker: Rev. Dr. Donald Rasmussen, Interim Executive Minister, ABC/NYS.

 

Donations for Burmese Refugees

Pastor John will be making a trip to Utica Nov. 12, for the Burmese Refugee Relief.  Household goods, winter clothing, blankets, anything to set up a home is needed.

Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service

Sunday, November 22,  7pm  St. Mark's Episcopal Church

The Penn Yan Area Council of Churches invites you to celebrate as a community of faith at the annual Community Service of Thanksgiving. An ecumenical choir will be bringing special music and the Rev. Michele Fischer of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will bring the Thanksgiving message. A special offering will be received for Food for the Needy. Join with others from our faith community as we give thanks for all of God's blessings in our lives.

 

The Keuka Comfort Care Home is seeking Cookie Bakers for the 2nd annual Holiday Cookie Walk. They are looking for bakers to make 6 doz. of the same type of cookie. Interesting, fancy, and hard to find sell the best. Visit keukacomfortcarehome.org/cookie or call Meredith at 315-694-1775. The walk will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19.

 

The Office for the Aging provides transportation to and from church for those with special needs. If you need a ride from this service, call David & Mickie Christiansen at 536-6345 before 8 am on Sunday.
