Mission Nugget Mission Around the World – Macau, China Emerson and Ivy Wu have been commissioned by International Ministries to serve as Development Workers in Macau, a special administrative region of China, with the supportive partnerships of the Macau Bible Institute and Evangelize China Fellowship (ECF). For a long time, Macau was known for its gambling casinos. Crime, prostitution and drug, alcohol and gambling addictions were rampant in this region near Hong Kong, in which less than 1% of the population is Christian. However, under the new government, many positive changes are taking place. Better education and social services are two major areas that are creating opportunities for the younger generation. The Wus will strive to bring a new spirit to Macau by assisting in the training of young Christian workers at the Institute and the ministries of the Grace Community Chapel and Orphanage and youth life transformation. They will also help to promote IM’s work with partners in Macau as well as Mainland China.

Living Well The Living Well is seeking volunteers. Want to know more about what they do? Speak with Barbara Burke, she volunteers there once a week and loves it. Items being collected to help people make their own cleaning supplies: empty spray bottles, corn starch, vinegar, ammonia, borax, clean rags, can be dropped off at the Well.
