Welcome & Announcements

*Call to Worship

Pastor: Let's come together my friends! This is a New Year and by all reports whether in print or in other media, a pivital year in the world. A time to take stock of our lives, our faith and our future. It is time to seek light! It is time for an Epiphany!

People: Christ has come into our world and has promised to be available to us, but we cannot sit back and be lazy. We must pursue a relationship with Him!

Pastor: Christ is our mentor, our shepherd, our very life. Christ is our Light in the darkness!

People: We need Christ and we need each other. Let us seek  unity. This is God's will for us! May Christ draw us closer together!

All: Amen.

*Unison Prayer

Our Heavenly Father, we live in an uncertain and changing world; yet You have said that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Provide us with the inner strength and stability that comes when we allow Christ to dwell in us. Help us to face all that separates us from You and from each other so that we can open ourselves to Your healing and redeeming power. Let us see You for who You really are so that we may be found whole in You. Amen.

Pastoral Prayer & Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Christmas, my child, is love in action.

Every time we love,

every time we give,

it's Christmas.
