The stage area is in the background. The center section of the back wall has recently been painted white to be used as a projection screen. Windows which flank the white area were added after the use as a theater ended. A portion of the orchestra pit can be seen beyond the yellow caution tape. Within the pit, a doorway can be seen which lead down into the dressing room area which was below the stage. Another stairway at the right rear of the stage also led to the dressing room area. The floor to the right (where people are standing) has yet to be removed. It is a portion of the floor which was added when the Sampson ceased it's theater operations. Again, the "hanging ceiling" also was not original, and has been partially removed. |
