Community  News

Food for the Needy:

Cereal is the most needed food item at this time. Thank You!

The Food for the Needy program and the Yates County Red Cross in Penn Yan have begun a new partnership for the distribution of emergency food. From now on, food will only be available at the PYFBC during the regular monthly distributions. At all other times, boxes of non-perishable food may be picked up at the Red Cross office at 121 East Main Street, Penn Yan.

Milly's Pantry Weekend Backpack Program:

To help feed school age kids over the weekends, the needed food item right now is breakfast cereal bars or granola bars. These items cannot be purchased from Food Link, so your help is appreciated. Thank You!

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Penn Yan. We are glad you joined us and hope you’ll feel at home, as we celebrate our faith and praise God together. In the pew in front of you, you will find a “get-to-know-you” card. Please take a moment to fill it out and place it in the offering plate.

We invite you to bring your children to the nursery during the service for a safe and Christian environment so that you may more fully experience Worship.

Christmas, my child, is love in action.

Every time we love,

every time we give,

it's Christmas.
