Church Directory

Our church is going to publish a new pictorial directory through Olan Mills. Reserve your appointment time today at the sign up location in the foyer. Each family/household that comes for photography and portrait viewing at the church will receive a complimentary directory and 8X10 custom color portrait. You will be able to view and select your portraits electronically from a variety of poses. Sign up to reserve your time today!!

 

From the Church Office

It's that time of year again, time for the boards and committees  to prepare their year end annual reports. They need to be available for the congregation to review on Jan. 10 with the annual meeting being on Jan. 17. Please have them into the office no later than Dec. 31. Thank you for your cooperation.

 

Christmas Caroling

Tuesday, Dec. 15

Join us Tuesday for a fun time of caroling and spreading Christmas Cheer! We'll meet here at the church at 3:30 pm. Drivers are needed to shuttle. Wear red, santa hats, elf hats , blinking noses or your reindeer antlers and make this a special time. We will conclude at Jeanette O'Brien's home. Bring your friends along. If you would like the group to make a stop at your home, call the church office by Mon. Dec 14, and we will put you on the list.

 


Christmas Eve Candlelight Service - 7 pm

 

Our Traditional Candlelight Service will include scriptures, carols, and anthems with the customary ritual of “Sharing the Light”. This year's music will feature the choral pieces “Birthday of a King”, “First Noel/Pachelbel's Canon” and special organ pieces played by Connie Gibson, The Ukranian Bell Carol, Gesu Bambino, and a medley of carols from around the world. Come early (6:30) and hear these beautiful pieces. We hope to have a special guest with us. Dauda Abubakars' wife Lois, plans to be here from Nigeria to lead us in our candle lighting ceremony.


 

Stewardship Status Report

48 pledges have been returned. Of this $68, 325 has been pledged for the local budget, $15, 246 has been pledged for missions, and $7,651 has been pledged for the building fund. We still have a ways to go. Have you returned your pledge card? If not, please do so before the Annual Meeting in January.

Christmas Service - Today

The community is invited to attend a Christmas Service at Keuka College's Norton Chapel. Time 7:30 pm.

 

Yates County Public Health H1N1 Flu Clinic

Monday, Dec. 14, from 4-7 pm at the Dundee American Legion (off Spring St.). There will be no charge. Remember to wear short sleeves. Offered to: pregnant women, all people 6 months – 24 yrs. People who live with or care for children younger than 6 mo., health care and emergency medical services personnel, people 25-64 yrs of age who have health complications.

 

Holiday Cookie Walk

Saturday, Dec. 19

The KCCH annual benefit will be held at the Presbyterian Church at 10am til the cookies sell out.

 

Gospel Music Club

The White Stone Chapel opens its doors for a Gospel Music Club. Currently they meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday nights at 6 pm. In January they will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays. For more information you may call 694-8997.

 


 

We invite you to bring your children to the nursery during the service for a safe and Christian environment so that you may more fully experience Worship.
