January Newsletter

A reminder that your articles for the January newsletter are due to the office by Monday, December 17th.

 

Stamp Reminder

Please tear off and save the stamps from your Christmas cards for the Missions stamp collection. Give them to a Missions Bd member or leave them in the dish in the church office.

 

Openings

There are openings for December 23, 24, and 30th for Lay Readers and Greeters.

 

Poinsettias

During Advent it is our tradition to decorate the sanctuary with poinsettias. To place a plant in honor or in memory of your loved one, we ask that you purchase your own flower and bring it to the sanctuary by Sunday, December 16th. Please remember to label your plant for easy retrieval after the Christmas Eve Service when you may take it home with you. Fill out the form below and turn it in by Wednesday, December 19, in order for your information to be included in the Christmas Eve bulletin.

Help Needed

Help is needed following the service this morning to move the Christmas trees from the Great Room into the kitchen so that they are out of the way for the Christmas for the Needy event. Thank you.

Cookie Walk - Saturday, December 15 at  9 am

The Keuka Comfort Care Home will hold their annual cookie sale (by the pound) at the Presbyterian Church.

 

VBS

The Penn Yan Area Council of Churches is planning a Vacation Bible School which will take place the week of February 18, 2013 at the PYUMC. However they need to know if there are enough adults who will be willing to help.
