The Church’s Mission

Mission Nugget

After School Enrichment Program at Friendship House, Billings, MT

Friendship House is proud of their exceptional Afterschool Enrichment Program. Features that set this program apart in the community include an unusually low teacher to student ratio of 10:1, an exceptionally qualified staff-half of whom hold Bachelor’s degrees, daily academic lessons to promote success in school, field trips and other activities designed to support social and emotional well-being, access to computers, community service projects, and one-on-one mentoring and tutoring. The Afterschool Program runs Monday – Friday during the school year from 2:30 – 5:00 pm. On a typical day children have time to play outside, eat a healthy snack, followed by an academic lesson, homework time, and other enriching activities or field trips.

Prayer for Rev. Matt Lundgren & Friendship House, Billings, MT

We thank you, O God, for the ministry of Rev. Matt Lundgren and The Friendship House of Christian Service in Billings, MT., as they serve persons in their neighborhood. May their love for you and those around them truly foster renewal, stability, and transformation in the life of youth and families in South Billings. May the dedicated staff and volunteers know that you are guiding and strengthening them every day, and may they be assured of our love and prayers in their very important mission. We ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Mission Receipts

Mission receipts for November 10th and 17th were $1,141 for the Treasury and another $9.02 for the World Mission Offering. That total is now $1,138.02. Thank you for your generosity!
