Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service
The Penn Yan Area Council of Churches invites you to join with others from our faith community in a service of Thanksgiving on today at 3 pm, here at First Baptist Church. Judy White, pastor of Bluff Point UMC will deliver the Thanksgiving message. An offering to benefit the Food Pantry will be taken.
Ring the Bell
There are a few early open spots to fill for Ringing the Bell for the Needy. See the clipboard in the sanctuary.
Starshine Committee
We are looking for donations for the baskets we will be selling, a list of baskets and a box for the donations will be in the sanctuary. All items need to be at the church by Sunday, December 2nd so we have time to get the baskets together. Monetary donations are always welcome and can be given to Cindy Ovens to help defray costs.
Ethel Clancy will be making her delicious egg rolls and Sheryl Robbins will be making her peanut butter fudge. We will be selling sodas, water and hot cocoa as well. This year we are asking for baked goods (individually packaged) and single serving pies. Any questions regarding the baked goods or if you'd like to help bake call Cathy MacDougall at 531-8390 anytime between 9 am and 8 pm.
