Our Church's Mission

Mission Around the World - Haiti
Kihomi Ngwemi and Nzunga Mabudiga serve as a vital link between International Ministries and the Haitian Baptist Convention. Nzunga teaches theology at the Christian University of Northern Haiti, trains assistant professors in teaching and writing books, administers a scholarship program, and visits and preaches in churches. He also administers the “Kids for Kids” goat project that provides needed school and personal supplies for children and university students. Kihomi works with families in the area of counseling, family planning, and women’s health issues. She also coordinates and advises the women’s association of the Haitian Baptist Convention, representing women of all the Baptist denominations of Haiti at international conferences. Languages used in ministry: French and Creole

Dinner-Theatre Event - November 19, 20, 21
A Charlie Brown Christmas ~ Dinner sittings at 5:15 and 7:15 ~ Performances at 6:00 pm.
Hosted at the Penn Yan United Methodist Church
Mark your calendars for this exciting benefit. Tickets: $20 for adults; $15 for seniors (over 65) and $10 for kids (11 and under). Tickets are available at the Living Well. All proceeds benefit Sampson Theatre restoration, PYTCO, and The Living Well.

Thanksgiving Service - Sunday, November 22

We are invited to gather as a community of faith for the annual Thanksgiving Service. This year the message will be delivered by Rev. Dan Burner of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. An offering will be collected to benefit The Keuka Food Pantry.

Living Well
Come learn more about the assorted volunteer opportunities the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 3 pm. Call the Well at 536-0838 to let them know you are coming.

Pet Food Pantry
Help for Yates Co. pets and their owners during times of financial hardship. Through the generous support of our community, Pet Partner Connections is able to provide temporary food supplies to assist with keeping pets in their homes and with their families. Please donate unopened and un-expired wet and dry dog and cat food and kitty litter at: Keuka Coffee Roasters Rte. 54A, Branchport Library, Knapp & Schlappi.
