Rip 'n Roll

The Mary & Martha Circle is hosting a “Rip 'n Roll” event on Saturday, November 10th in the church library. Our goal of 200 rolled bandages for White Cross is a huge request! Even if you can come for only part of the time, your help would be appreciated. With many helping hands we can do it and enjoy some quality fellowship at the same time! Hope to see you there!!! No previous experience is required.

Bell Ringers Needed

The PY Council of Churches “Ring the Bell for the Needy”.  Our turn to ring is on Friday, November 30th from 9 am – 4 pm in front of Tops Supermarket. There is a sign up sheet in the sanctuary. Usually we work in teams of two. Grab a partner and sign up for a two hour shift.

Starshine Committee

Starshine is Friday, December 7th at the County Courtyard/FBC. FBC will take advantage of this opportunity for fund raising.

We are looking for donations for the baskets we will be selling, a list of baskets and a box for the donations will be in the sanctuary. Monetary donations are always welcome and can be given to Cindy Ovens to help defray costs. All items need to be at the church by Sunday, December 2nd  so we have time to get the baskets together.

Ethel Clancy will again be making her delicious egg rolls and we will be selling sodas, water and hot cocoa as well.

This year we are asking for baked goods and Sheryl Robbins will be making her peanut butter fudge. Baked goods should be individually packaged for selling. Any questions regarding the baked goods, call Cathy MacDougall at 531-8390 anytime between 9 am and 8 pm. We have added pies to our bake sale, they will be single serving pies. Let Cathy know if you'd like to help bake pies.

Memorial Service for Ralph Wilkes

Saturday, December 8th at 2:00 pm at Keuka College Norton Chapel.

Rev. John R. Tharp, officiating.

Lay Readers & Greeters

Mission Treasury

The Mission Budget  income for October 28th was $222. We received another $52 for the World Mission Offering bringing our total to $499, towards our goal of $1000. There is still time to make a contribution for this very important offering. Thank you for your generosity. In order to meet the minimum total of our budgeted obligations for the year, we need to receive at least $1200 a month in November and December.
