Dear First Baptist Congregation,
At this week’s Advisory Council meeting it was decided to proceed in updating our organ and procuring a projector for our sanctuary. We will be doing this in cooperation with the Wellspring Church that meets in our building. In order to see that this project is successful, we are asking for volunteers for two committees:
Committee No. 1 Will be a group of people from both churches interested in determining how the organ is to be updated and what type of projector is to be used.
We ask you to take your time and seriously, prayerfully consider how you can work to make this project successful. If you are interested in either of these committees contact either our Moderator, Nancy Marion or Pastor Steve. Volunteers will be accepted until November, 8.
Committee No. 2 Will be a group of people from both churches to determine how the project is to be financed.
Please pray for the success of this project.
Thank you for your attention.

Mission Around the World - Haiti
Deliris Carrion Rosa serves in Haiti as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. God uses her to bless the lives of Haitian children with special needs, especially those injured in the January 2010 earthquake. Deliris’ primary focus is in helping the children deal with the psychological aspects of losing a limb, or learning how to cope with the physical limitations that resulted from the injuries to their arms or legs. She assists pediatric medical teams who come to Haiti, as they set up health care clinics for critical needs. Languages used in ministry: Creole, Spanish and English.
