Next
Sunday, during the worship service we will be dedicating our newly furnished
chapel. New chairs have been purchased and a stained glass piece created by
Rita Castillo hangs in the window.
Please
take time to experience the chapel for quiet meditation and reflection.
Stewardship
Drive
The Board
of Trustees annual luncheon is a week away! This event is the kick off for our
Stewardship Drive and is planned for Sunday, Nov. 4, immediately following
Sunday School. Trustees will furnish desserts and beverages and the
congregation is asked to bring a dish to share and your own place settings. We
look forward to seeing you there to join us for food, fun and fellowship!
Knit & Crochet
Are you
interested in learning a new hobby to take you through the long winter months?
Come to the church library on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 1-3 p.m. Even if you are
experienced and just want companionship while working, come join us. Our first
project will be to create 6-inch squares for Pam Scutt’s quilt for the Keuka

Lakes Association
Everyone
is invited to attend the Finger Lakes Association of ABC Annual Meeting at the
Wayne Village Baptist Church on Sunday, November 11. The program includes: a report
by Evelyn Emmerson and Ruth Spencer about Green Lake; devotions, pot luck
dinner, annual reports and election of officers. Registration begins at 3 p.m.
