Supper at 5 PM - $3.00 per person – Chicken ‘n Biscuits<
Movie at 6 PM - Free Movie plot: Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon works to solve a murder and prevent a terrorist act against the Vatican. Langdon pursues ancient clues on a heart-racing hunt through Rome to find the four Cardinals kidnapped by a secret society. Langdon embarks on a nonstop, action-packed race through sealed crypts, dangerous catacombs, and the most secretive vault on earth.

Hearts Full of Song - Sunday, October 26
Please come and join us at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 26th for our concert performed by Mark A. B. Lawrence. Mark is a well-known professional singer and the son of our own Kathie and Don Lawrence. Mark will perform a selection of classical and modern songs from opera, musical theater and the movies. Refreshments will be served following the concert. A Good Will offering will be taken. Please show your support and enjoy an afternoon of quality entertainment.

Rise to the Challenge - World Mission Offering

from Reid Trulson, Executive Director, International Ministries:
“Thank you for your prayers for the 116 global servants now serving through International Ministries in more than 70 countries around the world. Thank you for your giving to the World Mission Offering to help identify, train, place and sustain IM global mission staff worldwide. Because of your support, tens of thousands of people are being touched by the work of IM global and home staff and more than 200partner organizations in such ministries as evangelism, health and healing, theological education, human trafficking, economic development, education and peace and refuge. Thank you for giving to the World Mission Offering!”

Mission Budget Report
Mission Income for October 5th and 12th for our Treasury was $866. We also received $205 for the World Mission Offering for a total of $235 towards our goal of $1050. Thank you for your generosity. We still need another $700 in October to meet our budget obligations.


Community News and Events

Pancake Breakfast - Saturday, October 25
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will host a pancake breakfast on Saturday, October 25th from 8 am to 11 am to benefit the Living Well. Made to order specialty pancakes with homemade and real maple syrup. Also, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage, applesauce and beverage. Adults $7, kids under 12 yrs $5, kids 5 and under are free.

Caregivers Disaster Planning Workshop - Saturday, October 25
ProAction Yates Office for the Aging will host a professional guidance workshop to create your own plan, on Saturday, Oct. 25th at 10 am at the Penn Yan Fire Hall. Learn from professionals:
- Your elderly/disabled care recipient counts on you and a good plan
- Learn how to survive being stranded at home
- Going to a shelter? Learn what to do and take
- Plan for after the emergency ends
- Consult one on one with professionals and walk away with a personalized plan.
