World Mission Offering - Sunday, October 25
Next Sunday, October 25th, we will receive the World Mission Offering. Our 2015 WMO goal is $1,139. Please give generously and expectantly to the World Mission Offering as, together we help people everywhere come to Christ, grow in their relationships to God and change their worlds through the power of the Holy Spirit. Mission Around the World - Costa Rica
Ruth Mooney’s ministry is theological education. She lives in Costa Rica, where she serves on the faculty of the Latin American Biblical University (UBL), a seminary founded in 1924 that prepares pastors and leaders for churches throughout Latin America. Ruth teaches the Christian education courses as well as Written Communication and Ethics. All UBL professors teach in San Jose; and in the 15 affiliated institutions in other parts of Latin America. The University has also asked her to work with the Publications department, editing course materials and books written by the faculty, and directing the bookstore. Ruth has extensive experience in writing Bible study materials and training Sunday school teachers. Previously she served in Cuba and El Salvador, where she trained curriculum teams to responds to the specific needs of the churches in those regions. Language used in ministry: Spanish

Thank you for your Mission contributions on October 4th and 11th. The totals are: Mission Budget: $954; Love Gift: $30; (total $251) and World Mission Offering: $105 toward our goal of $1,139.
