Our Church's Mission

Mission Around the World ~ Mexico
The Rev. Deliris Carrion-Joseph uses her pastoral as well as occupational therapy skills to work at Deborah’s House, a ministry that works with women and children who are victims of domestic violence in Tijuana, Mexico. Deliris affirms that it is through Jesus, who heals the broken hearts and restores the afflicted souls, that women and children find refuge, healing and freedom at Deborah’s House. She believes that by strengthening their faith, improving their self-esteem, offering good education and helping them find their vocational paths, these families will be able to leave the house with hope for a better future. Language used in ministry: Spanish

Mission Giving

Thank you for your generous Mission contributions on February 19th of $2071.72. In addition we received $12 in “Backpack Pennies” ($32 total to date) and $2 for the Easter Offering (towards the adopted budget amount of $425).
