Children's Nursery

Volunteers are needed in the nursery during the worship service. If you are able to sign up for just one Sunday a month see Ethel Clancy.

Mission Contributions

Contributions towards our budgeted giving on September 23rd, totaled $411. This makes it possible for us to pay our monthly contribution for United Mission Basics as well as our contributions to Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School and Fairport Baptist Home. Thank you.

Note to the Congregation

For the past several years our church has given Thanksgiving Baskets to needy families in the community. This year, if we want this tradition to continue we need 1 or possibly 2 or 3 people to work together to oversee the project. If this is something you would have a heart for, call the church office and leave your name.

It's back-to-school time. The food pantry can use items such as cereals, mac n cheese, breakfast cereals, pudding/jello/fruit cups spaghetti and sauce. Thank You!

Backpack Program

Donations of breakfast/granola bars, cereal, instant oatmeal, mac & cheese, jello/pudding/fruit cups, tuna etc and help packing on Wednesdays at 4 pm are greatly appreciated. These foods help keep the kids fed when mom and dads aren't at home to prepare meals.

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Penn Yan. We are glad you joined us and hope you’ll feel at home, as we celebrate our faith and praise God together. In the pew in front of you, you will find a “get-to-know-you” card. Please take a moment to fill it out and place it in the offering plate.

You are invited to bring your children to the nursery during the service for a safe and Christian environment so that you may more fully experience Worship.
