Scripture Reading Revelation 22:1-2 Pg. 353 NT
*Hymn “How Firm a Foundation” No. 361
From beginning to end your scriptures tell us of your plan to bring healing to the nations. Dear Lord, the healing is incomplete. Many are touched by poverty and illness, our troops are still at war, and peace seems to elude us. We offer ourselves for cleansing. Let us be your agents of Grace in this community and beyond. We pray this prayer in the name of Jesus, who taught us to pray…

“The Way of New Life” is the theme for the Adult Sunday School Class. Ed Castillo will be the facilitator and the group will meet in the library following worship services at 11 am.
Our bazaar is just over a month away! So, it’s time to get busy. Anyone interested is welcome to meet at the home of Cindy Ovens on Sat. Sept. 26 at 10 am. This will be a brainstorming session so bring lots of ideas. We can also use your crafts, handiwork, and if you canned or preserved, those donations are welcome too.
New Small Group Forming ~ “Encouraging One Another!”
This is a 6-week study that will take place on Wednesdays, at 7 pm, beginning Sept. 23. Led by Cheryl Stewart, it is open to anyone who wants to search the Bible for all the ways God wants us to know he didn’t leave us to face life alone. We’ll think, share, smile, and fellowship as we search the scriptures for all of God’s encouraging “love notes” to us. Plan to join us and bring along a friend or two!
We invite you to bring your children to the nursery during the service for a safe and Christian environment so that you may more fully experience Worship.
Following today’s service please come to enjoy coffee, refreshments and fellowship in the Great Room.

than the risk it took to blossom.”
