There will be a collection box in the foyer during the month of August for anyone who would like to contribute items for making up some of the kits. On the box are slips for the items needed, that you can take with you to the store. Completed kits will be presented to Amy Manning, our guest speaker for Women's Sunday on Sept. 19. If you

can't shop, you may wish to contribute money that we will use to purchase any items needed to complete a kit and to cover postage.

Country Fair and Pie Auction

2nd Milo baptist Church will hold their annual Country Fair and Pie Auction this Saturday, Aug. 28, from 3-6 pm. There will be a dish to pass supper to follow.

Thank you

….to all who provided food and monetary contributions for the sandwiches for the AB Men's Conference. They were very much appreciated. Thanks also to those who helped assemble the sandwiches.

I would like to express my pleasure in the summer services and the combining of the two churches. It has been so nice to see people that we don't see often, to meet new people and to share our joys and concerns. Also, to see the churches full. It has been so nice. Thanks. And I am sure that I am not the only one that feels this way. God Bless each one of you.
