On Saturday, August 14, Tom Tharp and Katie Girvin were married in a private ceremony performed by Rev. Dr. John R. Tharp. Tom and Katie will be living in North Carolina, where Katie will be teaching school and Tom will continue his seminary education.

Church World Service Hygiene & School Kits
There will be a collection box in the foyer during the month of August for anyone who would like to contribute items for making up some of the kits. On the box are slips for the items needed, that you can take with you to the store. Completed kits will be presented to Amy Manning, our guest speaker for Women's Sunday on Sept. 19. If you
can't shop, you may wish to contribute money that we will use to purchase any items needed to complete a kit and to cover postage.
