School Kits for Church World Service
In September, the American Baptist Women will once again be collecting school items. Now is the time for back-to-school sales! Thank you for any items that you can donate.

Keuka College “Houses of Worship Carnival"
September 3rd is the Keuka College “Houses of Worship Carnival”. An opportunity to let the students meet the area churches through innovative games, food etc that will help draw the kids in to begin a conversation. See Pastor Steve if you would like to be a part of this.

Mission Around the World ~ Thailand ~
Becky Mann has been working with the Hmong, Lahu, Lisu and Karen tribal women, helping with craft ideas, developing patterns and marketing of crafts.
She is also committed to helping the Integrated Tribal Development Program, which her husband Mike Mann leads, with the marketing of Thai coffee, and working with parents of special needs children. Mike is a global consultant for American Baptist International Ministries in development. Languages used in ministry: Thai and Lahu
Thank you for your Mission Budget contributions on July 24th of $108. Thank you also for the $8 in Backpack Pennies. The total for the second donation is now $20.50. (Thanks, Diane for counting and rolling!)
Community News and Events
Christmas in July - Saturday, July 30th
Ecumenical Worship Service, Saturday, July 30th at Noon on the Courthouse Lawn. Bring a chair or blanket. Free hot dogs and cupcakes following worship. Sponsored by the Penn Yan Area Council of Churches. Come, celebrate the birth of Christ!
Cancer Support Program
The Living Well will be providing a ministry of Cancer Support to people living in Yates Co. They want to pull together a core group of volunteers to outline and to be a part of this ministry going forward. If you would like to volunteer and you have a passion about helping others who are going through a cancer situation there will be an organizational meeting on Thursday, August 4th at 4 pm at The Well.
