Council of Churches - Upcoming Events

·        All Church Picnic at St. Paul's Church on Hamilton Street. Everyone is invited. Hot Dogs and Hamburgers will be provided, just bring a dish to pass. Weather permitting we will be outside, have games for the kids and lots of fun. But, if the rains come, we will move inside. Bring your lawn chairs, a frisbee or football!!! Call your own church office if you plan to attend so we have an approximate count. Also, need volunteers to help cook, set up (at 11:30) and clean up.

·        On July 14th, St. Paul's Church will be hosting a seminar on the prophets. The class will start at 9:30 am and conclude by 2:30 pm. Lunch will be $5 per person and we will order in pizza. Please sign up by calling 536-8165 by July 9th.

·        The Turkey Walk is November 4th. The route will be the same as the CROP Walk and starting at the Presbyterian Church. We are asking each congregation to have one coordinator. All funds raised provide meat for the food baskets for Christmas for the Needy. Last year we raised $6000, and we know the need is going up. Contact Donna Johnson at 536-2683 if you can serve as your church's coordinator.
