BUILDING FOR TODAY & TOMORROW
One of the privileges of being a Christian is to be able to dedicate what we have to God. We are blessed in so many ways – all we have to do is look around ourselves to see those blessings and also look up to see where they've come from.
Many of you are aware of the mortgage of the Jessup Christian Education Wing. We have made great strides in paying it off and currently have a balance of only $43,832.12. Our new goal is to pay $22,000.00 for the next 2 years and have the mortgage completely paid off by the end of Phase 2 in 2014. Some of us have chosen to make our pledge from July-June during recent campaigns. You are being asked prayerfully consider making an extra donation/pledge for our building campaign year of July 2012 – June 2013 to help us keep up with our mortgage payments.
To date we have contributions from many members who pledge to our BT&T mortgage during the regular calendar year from January 2012-December 2012 and they have set the foundation for us. We commend and graciously thank those members for setting such a wonderful example for us and, now it's our turn. You may make a weekly or monthly pledge or donate one lump sum-whichever you feel God's calling you to do. Please fill out the pledge sheet below and return it in the weekly offering or to the church office by
July 1, 2012. We thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration in the future of
of Penn Yan. First Baptist Church
With gratitude to God and as an expression of my personal commitment to Jesus Christ and His Church, it is my intention to pledge the following amount toward our Building for Today Tomorrow Phase II Year 3 - 2012-2013 fund.
A Single Contribution_____________________
of Penn Yan. We are glad you joined us and hope you’ll feel at home, as we celebrate our faith and praise God together. In the pew in front of you, you will find a “get-to-know-you” card. Please take a moment to fill it out and place it in the offering plate. First Baptist Church
We invite you to bring your children to the nursery during the service for a safe and Christian environment so that you may more fully experience Worship. Following today’s service please come to enjoy coffee, refreshments and fellowship in the Great Room.
May the God that we worship
be evident in our daily life.
