Mission Nugget - Mission Around the World
Dwayne and Janet Doyle are Associate Development Workers serving in Central Asia. The nations of this region became independent following the collapse of the Soviet Union around 1991. Many of these republics have a dominant religious population and have suffered from civil war, revolution, ethnic conflict, corruption and religious persecution.
Dwayne works in a village at a facility connected to an orphanage, where boys ages 7-21 participate in a year-round sports club. Janet teaches English in the same village at a language center and runs an English club at a 1st – 11th grade school.
Dwayne and Janet are working toward starting home fellowship groups among an indigenous unreached people group. Please pray for the people of Central Asia.
Mission Budget Report
Thank you for your Missions contributions on May 17th. We received $203 for the budget giving us almost enough to pay United Mission basics and Camp Vick. We also received another $43 for Blankets+, giving us a total of $364 or 69 blankets. The .65 in pennies gives us a spring total of $274.07 for the Backpack Program.
The goal for One Great Hour of Sharing has been set at $1000. If we receive more than the extra will go for Earthquake Relief in Nepal.
