Come Experience the Exciting Sounds of Hand Bells!
ASBURY RINGERS
HANDBELL ENSEMBLE
Friday, May 29, at 7:30 pm
A special concert of music for hand bells, hand chimes, and percussion. Musical selections will range from exciting arrangements of well-known hymns, to music originally written for orchestra now arranged for hand bells. This talented group from the Asbury First United Methodist Church share their love of the sounds. Following the concert, there will be an opportunity to learn more about hand bells and even trying your own hand at playing one. Refreshments will be served in the Great Room.
A free will offering will be taken.
ABW Local Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 30, here at FBC at 8:30 am. A continental breakfast will be provided. We will hold the installation of new officers.

Undies Sunday continues during MAY. Donations of undies and personal care items for the Cameron Community Center in Rochester will be appreciated.

Spaghetti Dinner
at the Moose Club on Thursday, May 28, from 5–7pm. to benefit the Relay for Life..
Tickets for children and adults are $6 each.
Walk-ins are welcome or presale tickets are available by contacting either

This year’s Relay for Life will be held on June 6 & 7, at the Penn Yan Firemen’s Field. The relay is an all night walk to raise money to fund cancer research, education and patient services. Anyone interested in being on a team or making a decision is encouraged to do so! Contact Beth DeLooza or Pam Scutt at 536-2791.
Tutor Training – June 2009
Literacy Volunteers is growing!
We are looking for people interested in training, as tutors, to help adult learners with reading, writing and math. We also have many GED students looking for tutoring help with their assignments.
