Asbury Hand Bell Ensemble
Friday, May 29, at 7:30 pm
Brought to you by the Deacons, this will be a concert of hand bells, hand chimes and percussion; joined by other musical artists playing flute, saxophone and piano. Following the concert there will be an opportunity to learn more about hand bells and perhaps even trying your own had at playing one. A love offering will be taken. Refreshments will be served in the Great Room following the concert.
Filipino Sunday Luncheon
Sunday, May 31 noon – 2 pm
Ethel Clancy and friends will prepare this special luncheon to benefit the church local budget. Presale Tickets are $9-adults ($10 at the door); $5-kids 5 and under. Menu: Lumpia (spring roll), Pancit (stir fry noodle dish w/meat & veg), Caldereta (rich beef stew), and Maja Blanca (dessert).
Undies Sunday during May
Through Undies Sunday your Mission Committee will be collecting undies and personal care items for the Cameron Community Center located in one of the poorer sections of Rochester. So… when you are out shopping remember this project. You will find a box for your donations at the front of the sanctuary. Let’s see what we can do!

Will be held on Sunday, June 14, immediately following the service.
Newsletter
During the summer months we will combine the June & July newsletter into one publication. All articles should be submitted to the office by May 20. There will not be an August newsletter.
Community News
Relay for Life
This year’s Relay for Life will be held on June 6 & 7, at the Penn Yan Firemen’s Field. The relay is an all night walk to raise money to fund cancer research, education and patient services. Anyone interested in being on a team or making a decision is encouraged to do so! For more information, please contact Beth DeLooza at 536-3162 or Pam Scutt at 536-2791.
