The Church’s Mission

Mission Nugget

Cameron Community Ministries is an urban community center located in the Lyell-Otis neighborhood of Rochester, NY

Their mission is “to provide hope through emergency services, engagement, education and empowerment to our community.” Their Motto is: “Nurturing Families…Inside and Out”. Programs and meals are offered for all age groups throughout the school year and in the summer months. Our church has already given $300 in 2014 to Cameron Community Ministries to help them meet the “Feinstein Challenge” which doubles all contributions received early in the year for their neighborhood meals ministry programs.

Mission Giving:

Mission Income for April 27th was $111 for the budget and $5 for the Easter Offering. The Easter Offering total is now $500 - $150 short of the goal accepted at the Annual Meeting. Your generosity this month has enabled us to pay our monthly United Mission Basics, Penn Yan Council of Churches dues, Jail Ministry contributions, Camping Scholarships and Rushville Health Center Contributions. Thank you.

Board of Missions Backpack Spotlight Items:

May item to benefit  Milly’s Backpack Program: Canned Tuna & Chicken

Thank you very much for your support of this mission! You do make a difference in the lives of our YC Youth!
