Our Church's Mission

Mission Nugget
Mission Around the World – Macau, China
Emerson and Ivy Wu have been commissioned by International Ministries to serve as Development Workers in Macau, a special administrative region of China, with the supportive partnerships of the Macau Bible Institute and Evangelize China Fellowship (ECF). For a long time, Macau was known for its gambling casinos. Crime, prostitution and drug, alcohol and gambling addictions were rampant in this region near Hong Kong, in which less than 1% of the population is Christian. However, under the new government, many positive changes are taking place. Better education and social services are two major areas that are creating opportunities for the younger generation. The Wus will strive to bring a new spirit to Macau by assisting in the training of young Christian workers at the Institute and the ministries of the Grace Community Chapel and Orphanage and youth life transformation. They will also help to promote IM’s work with partners in Macau as well as Mainland China.

Mission Budget Report
Thank you for your Mission contributions on April 26th of $156. We are able to pay our April contributions including camping scholarships. Remember – no child is turned away from Camp Vick or Pathfinder because of need.
