Our Special Interest Missionary, Courtney Crisler, Executive Director of “The Place”,
, is “jazzed,” as she says, to work both in community service and to engage youth in experiential learning. A Christian neighborhood center, The Place offers a childcare program and partners with other organizations and agencies in programs for youth aged 5-25, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chenango County, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America. Missiongiving for our budget on Easter Sunday was $96. The Easter Offering was $472 (total of $627 toward our goal of $600). We received an additional $50 for the for Christ Offering (total of $876 toward our goal of $700). Thanks to your generosity, we were able to pay $900 for United America MissionBasics, $600 to Food for the Needy, our dues of $50 and Jail Ministry donation of $200 to the PY Council of Churches. Thank You!

It's Time to Take A Stand
There will be a free screening of the movie “Bully” at Milly's Pantry on Tuesday, April 16 at 4:30 pm and Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 pm. Parents, students, educators, youth workers and the community are invited. The movie will be followed by a discussion.
