Mission  Nuggets

Our Special Interest Missionary, Courtney Crisler, Executive Director of “The Place”, Norwich, NY, is “jazzed,” as she says, to work both in community service and to engage youth in experiential learning. A Christian neighborhood center, The Place offers a childcare program and partners with other organizations and agencies in programs for youth aged 5-25, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chenango County, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America.

Mission giving for our budget on Easter Sunday was $96. The Easter Offering was $472 (total of $627 toward our goal of $600). We received an additional $50 for the America for Christ Offering (total of $876 toward our goal of $700). Thanks to your generosity, we were able to pay $900 for United Mission Basics, $600 to Food for the Needy, our dues of $50 and Jail Ministry donation of $200 to the PY Council of Churches. Thank You!
