Security & Safety Committee
There will be a brief meeting today immediately following the congregational meeting to establish the day and time for the Security & Safety meetings. Those serving on this committee include: Barbara Burke, Don Lawrence, Eileen Modaffari, Barb Stewart, and Rick Willson.
Vacation Bible School - Thursday, March 31 , 7 pm
All those interested in helping with VBS 2011, should attend the meeting. Last year's VBS was canceled due to lack of help, won't you please prayerfully consider giving of your time and talents this year? Contact Eileen Modaffari for more information.
Search Committee/Trustees Meeting - Sunday, April 3, 11:30 am
Preparing the new pastor's compensation package is the order of this meeting that will be held on the 2nd floor alcove meeting area.
Deacons - Tuesday, April 5, 6:30 pm
Members of the Diaconate you are invited to attend a special dinner just for YOU! Bring a dish to share, dessert and beverages will be provided. The evening focus will be on a workshop and monthly meeting.
All Church Fellowship Supper!!! - Friday, April 8, 6:30 pm
This night will feature a pasta dinner with salad and dessert.
There is no charge so please plan to join us for an evening of good food, fun and fellowship!
Prayer Meetings
will begin this week and continue on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm.
Please Be Aware
There have been some concerns raised for the security of the building. When you or your group leaves, please appoint someone to check the bathrooms for lights and running water, check all areas for lights, unsecured doors etc. Upon leaving the main door, please turn and give the door a final pull to be sure that it has latched properly.
From the Bd. Of Missions
In the first three weeks of March, we received a total of $984.03 towards our adopted budget (an average of $328 per week). The average needed is $354 per week or $391 per week towards the expanded budget.
Thanks to your generosity, $647 was received for the America for Christ Offering.
