Memorial Service
A memorial service for Norma Snyder will take place tomorrow, February 22, at Weldon Funeral Chapel. Calling hours will be at 3 pm with a service conducted by Rev. Tharp at 4 pm.
What A Wonderful Farewell!
I cannot thank everyone enough for their gifts and support throughout my 26 years as a family member of this church. I know that even though I will be miles away, your guidance, love and prayers will be right there with me. Thanks Again! ~ Beth & Jim
White Water Rafting Trip
This year's trip is scheduled for Saturday, April 10. The cost is $14 (which includes lunch) per person due at time of sign up. See the March newsletter for more information.
Small Group
Beginning in March the small group “Encouraging One Another” will continue. Utilizing all the Wednesdays in March they will meet from 7-8:30 pm in the library under the leadership of Cheryl Stewart.

A special way to remember your loved ones is to purchase a Sunday bulletin in their memory or in their honor. Community News
Benefit for The People of Haiti
The Dresden Methodist Church will have a dinner to raise money for the people of Haiti on Saturday, February 20, from 4-8 pm. Dinner choices: Chicken Parmesan $10:75; Pork w/Orange Glaze $10.75; Steak $12.00.
The U.S. Census Bureau
needs temporary workers in Yates Co. Information is available on the table outside of Great Room.
7th Annual Aternoon Tea
The youth of Penn Yan would like to invite all senior citizens to an “Afternoon Tea” on Thursday, March 4. Refreshments, including specialty sandwiches and sweets will be provided along with tea. The PYA Jazz Ensemble will entertain and valet parking will be available. The event takes place in the Academy Gymnasium from 4 – 5:30 pm. This is a gift to the community, there is NO cost for attending. For reservations call the Yates Co. Office of the Aging at: 536-5515. Let us know if you need transportation, it will be provided.
