Super Sub Sale

Once again this year the Bd of Missions will be selling Subs for  Super Bowl Sunday. Proceeds will benefit Yates County Habitat for Humanity to help build another house. The subs will be made on Saturday, February 4, and can be picked up after 2 pm that day, or they can be picked up after church service on February 5.

ñ     Subs are $7.50 (make checks payable to First Baptist Church)

ñ     Choices are: Turkey, Ham or Roast Beef

ñ     Orders/$ are due TODAY to a Missions Bd member

ñ     One sub per order form please

ñ     You will find order forms at the church entry sites.


Nursery Schedule

From the Board of Deacons

To increase the Diaconate Fund (which helps the needs of people)  there will be an offering plate at the door on Communion Sundays. We hope you will prayerfully consider your gift.


Lay Study

The Finger Lakes Association is offering a course on Baptist Heritage as part of its Lay Studies program. The course is being taught by Rev. Ed Carey, pastor of FBC Fairport and former Dean of Students at Colgate Rochester. The course will begin on Saturday, February 28, from 8:30–11:30 am at FBC Manchester and will continue through March 10. The course is free to members of the Finger Lakes Assoc. with the application for a scholarship. Late entries accepted. Contact Greg Marion for details.

First Baptist Church needs a recruiter for this year's CROP Walk.

Weekend Backpack Program: To help feed school age kids over the weekends, the needed food item right now is breakfast cereal bars or granola bars. These items cannot be purchased from Food Link, so your help is appreciated. Thank You!


Red Cross

Needs~n~ThingsFor the month of January we are collecting hygiene items. Bar soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, deodorant and kotex. A box is in the sanctuary for your collections. Thank You.


Comfort on the Journey

A confidential mutual support group at Keuka Comfort Care Home for those whose lives have been impacted by the loss of a loved one. Meetings are  the 2nd Tuesday of every month, 7-8pm. 536-1690.
