Advisory Council Meeting - Thursday, January 7
The purpose of this meeting is to set the 2016 budget. All boards and committees need to have a representative attend.

Annual Meeting - Sunday, January 17
The First Baptist Church Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 17th, 2016 immediately following the worship service. There will be a luncheon afterwards. Bring a dish-to-share and your own table service.

2016 Envelopes
Your 2016 Offering envelopes are available on the back table in the sanctuary. The approximate cost for each box is $5.00. Whatever you can contribute in the initial envelope to help defray the cost will be greatly appreciated.

Our Church's Mission

The Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation center is a skilled rehabilitation facility and Scotia nursing home that provides full service for people requiring either long or short term comprehensive care. Baptist Health has the capacity to care for people who have specialized needs as well as those who are more independent. Whether for the long or short term, the philosophy of care at Baptist Health is designed to be an extension of home, offering excellent care, superb food, meaningful activities, friendly companions and all of the extras that make life special at one of the finest nursing homes in the Albany, NY area.

Mission Giving
Thank you for your Mission contributions on December 27th of $119. Thanks for all the Backpack Pennies too. A total of $170.33 was deposited this week making the year-end total $209.13 and the total for the year $483.20!

Mission Collection for the Backpack Program:
Collecting warm, satisfying, filling, instant oatmeal for the Milly’s Backpack Program in the month of January.
